9/5 - pH scale and titration demonstration
Today we went over the pH scale again, and learned about how there are 10x less H3O+ ions every time you go up one in the pH scale (and 10x more OH- ions). The website we went over was at:
pH website
Then we went through the titration lab along with a titration demonstration, remember:
M(acid) * V(acid) = M(base) * V(base)
M(acid) = concentration (molarity) of the acid
M(base) = concentration (molarity) of the base
V(acid) = volume of the acid
V(base) = volume of the base
Your Basic Chem Quiz is tomorrow, and your worksheet is due tomorrow as well.
